Philly Releases Details On 'Welcome America' July 4 Festival, Concert
Everything you need to know about the 4th of July celebrations happening in Philadelphia this year.

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Philadelphia is planning a huge party for 4th of July again this year, and the actual holiday of Independence Day is only the culmination of the celebration.
Events will take place for a week leading up to the holiday, beginning on June 27 with free museum days, outdoor movies, and other cultural and historical free public programs.
Fireworks will take place on three different occasions: on July 1 and July 2 at the Delaware River Waterfront, and on July 4 at 10 p.m. at the Art Museum.

A "Historic Philadelphia Block Party" will take place on July 3 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Independence Hall.
The 4th of July "Party of the Parkway" will begin at noon and run until 10 p.m. Music, food, games, and other entertainment will take over Benjamin Franklin Parkway, which is closed to traffic.

The main concert begins at 5 p.m. and will feature performances from Bucks County's Christina Perri, The O'Jays, Harold Melviln's Blue Notes, and Yazz the Greatest, among others.
