Play in a Day: Special Old Academy Event Saturday 12/19 at 8 pm
We would like to invite you to take a break from your holiday shopping and join us for a ONE NIGHT ONLY CHARITY EVENT Saturday, December 19th at 8 pm.
Old Academy Players [www.oldacademyplayers.org] will be hosting, “Theatre Unscrewed! A 24-Hour Play Festival.” Join 5 sleep deprived playwrights, & over 15 actors & directors for an evening of new plays written, directed, & performed all in a 24-hour time frame! You will have the chance to see some new faces along with some familiar.
All proceeds from this event will go to support OPERATION FIRST RESPONSE, which helps our wounded Veterans, & The Old Academy Renovation Fund.

The evening will run an hour & a half with five 15-minute plays, & a talk back with the actors, directors, & writers immediately following the final piece.
This is sure to be a night to remember! If a break from shopping & giving back to our Veterans & the theatre were not a big enough of a draw, a complimentary glass of wine will be provided with each ticket purchased.
