Rabid Raccoon Identified In Roxborough, Health Officials Warn
Any person, or pet, who came into contact with a raccoon in the area should contact the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Health officials in Philadelphia are warning Roxborough-area residents of a recently identified rabid raccoon.
According to the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, the raccoon was on the 400 block of Conarroe Street in Roxborough.
The warning was issued on Dec. 9.

Any person or pet who has come into contact with a raccoon recently should call the health department's disease control division at 215-686-6742.
