'Read And Eat' Opens In Roxborough: Report

A distinctive new business is opening its doors in Roxborough.

Read and Eat, a combination bakery and used bookstore, opened its doors earlier in November on 6156 Ridge Avenue.

It’s the location of the former Forster Shoe Building.

A grand opening will be held November 20.

Another Read and Eat is operated by the same owners in Mt. Airy.

The Mt. Airy location has been the centerpiece for numerous community events, including live music and readings.
