Roxborough Brewery Among Best In Large US Cities: Yelp
Yelp created a list of the best breweries in large American cities, and this busy spot in Roxborough made the cut.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia and the surrounding region are home to some stellar breweries.
But one in Roxborough was good enough to be featured among the 25 best breweries in large U.S. cities in a new Yelp list.
Yelp looked at businesses in the brewery category and ranked those them by looking at factors such as the total volume and ratings of reviews.

Among the list is Roxborough's New Ridge Brewing Company.
New Ridge is the only brewery in Pennsylvania to make the list.

On Yelp, the Ridge Avenue spot has four-and-a-half stars out of 81 reviews.
New Ridge opened in summer 2020 next to the popular Pocket Park.
The brewpub features 10 beers and a full food menu, in addition to cocktails and wines.
