Roxborough Eatery Hit With Health Code Violations
Mouse droppings and drain flies were found in the kitchen area, according to the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – A restaurant in Roxborough was ordered to close temporarily in mid May after the Philadelphia Department of Public Health between found violations causing "unacceptable" conditions or "imminent health hazards."
According to the department, Dream House Asian Bistro at 6127 Ridge Ave. was hit with nine violations – all of which were repeat violations – on May 15, the same day it was ordered to close by a Court of Common Pleas.
The eatery reopened on May 17 after being approved by the department to resume operations.

Violations included finding mouse droppings in the kitchen, as well as drain flies in the kitchen.
Others included clean dishes and cleaning utensils being stored improperly and tape being found on the inside of a chest freezer.
