Roxborough Home Invader Sought: Philadelphia Police
Police said Mark McLaughlin, 21, allegedly tied up and assaulted a former neighbor Wednesday morning in Roxborough.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Police released more information on the Wednesday home invasion in Roxborough, including the suspect's photo, in hopes of the public helping police bring him in.
Police said the suspect is 21-year-old Mark McLaughlin, whose last known address was on the same block as the home invasion.
McLaughlin allegedly entered a home on the 7300 block of Hill Road in Roxborough at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Police said McLaughlin then tied up a 75-year-old man inside the home and assaulted him while another person inside the home slept.
McLaughlin fled the residence, taking the sleeping resident's car keys and then stealing the vehicle, police said.

The man who was tied up and assaulted was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said. He was later was admitted to the ICU, police said.
McLaughlin is a white male whose last known address was also on the 7300 block of Hill Road. Police said he is a former neighbor of the victims.

The public should not approach McLaughlin if he is spotted. Instead, they should contact 911 immediately.
