Roxborough-Manayunk Health Inspections: 24 Inspections In January

ROXBOROUGH-MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Health Department inspected 24 Roxborough and Manayunk establishments in January and found nearly all of them to be in violation of at least one health code.

Mr. P Pizza and Pasta in Roxborough had the most violations, with inspectors documenting 30 violations on their Jan. 20 visit to the eatery.

Violations included mouse droppings found throughout the facility; employees not wearing or wearing ineffective hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard restraints; deli meats, cheeses, and pre-cooked spinach held at higher than acceptable temperatures; employee medicines and personal hygiene products stored in ware washing area; and more.

• Sorrentino's Deli – inspected Jan. 20, 17 violations
• Castle Roxx Cafe – inspected Jan. 19, 21 violations
