Roxborough, Manayunk Spots Have Must-Try Tomato Pies: Philly Mag

ROXBOROUGH-MANAYUNK, PA — Two eateries, one in Roxborough and one in Manayunk have landed on a list of the entire Philadelphia region's best tomato pies.

Tony Roni's in Roxborough, was recently included on a list of Philadelphia Magazine's top pies around.

"Hit up one of the seven locations of this local pizza chain in Roxborough or on the outskirts of Philly for a crisp, thinner-crusted take on the classic tomato pie," the magazine says.

And Marchiano's Bakery in Manayunk was also included.

"For old school, nonna-approved tomato pie, look no further than Marchiano’s, which has been making a southern Italian recipe passed down from the owners’ grandmother since 1984," the magazine says of Marchiano's.

A total of 16 bakeries were listed by Philly Mag.
