Roxtoberfest Is Saturday, Here's What To Know

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — This Saturday will mark 10 years of the beloved Roxtoberfest Oktoberfest celebration in Roxborough.

Roxtoberfest will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday along Ridge Avenue between Lyceum and Leverington avenues.

The day will feature more than 10 food trucks and themed Oktoberfest beers from New Ridge Brewing Co.

For music, Polkadelphia will perform German-themed music. Other acts are The Providers, featuring Roxborough Memorial Hospital’s health care providers, and Funkitorium.

Kids and other fun activities include interactive songs by Music with Gina, face painting, and larger-than-life games like Jenga, tic-tac-toe, Connect 4 and cornhole

More than 60 local artisans/crafters and local non-profit organizations will also be on hand offering their wares and services.

Roxtoberfest’s prime sponsor is Roxborough Memorial Hospital, and other major sponsors include Independence Blue Cross, Ken Crest, Baker Street Partners, DesignBlendz, The Galman Group, Shoprite, and Vybe Urgent Care.
