SEPTA Detour: Route 27 Bus Rerouted Due to Road Work

For the next month, the Route 27 bus through Roxborough will experience a detour along Manyaunk Avenue. 

According to SEPTA.org, sewer main construction from June 12 to July 13 will reroute the 27 bus from Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. while work continues.

The starting point is listed as the Manayunk Avenue stop over Shurs Lane. Traffic will be detoured, both northbound and southbound, from Manayunk Avenue onto Roxborough Avenue and onto Ridge Avenue.

This essentially means the route spends more time on Ridge Avenue and less time within the residential area.

Signs are posted at stops indicating the month-long delay.
