Shots Fired On Christmas Day, Gunman Sought: Philly Police

A man was caught on camera in Northeast Philadelphia firing a handgun several times on Christmas Day, according to Philadelphia Police.

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who fired several gunshots in Northeast Philadelphia on Christmas Day.

According to police, at about 7:09 a.m. on Dec. 25, officers were called to the 6900 block of Bustleton Avenue for shots fired.

When officers arrived in the area they found several shell casings on the sidewalk, police said.

Surveillance video in the area showed a man and a woman in the area, police said.

The man, who was armed with a handgun, fired several shots from the sidewalk, police said.

After the shooting, the man along with the female fled the area in an unknown direction, according to police.
