Small Business Saturday In Manayunk To Feature Tree Lighting
You're invited to shop locally in Manayunk on Saturday, Nov. 25 then see the Manayunk Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – Manayunk is gearing up for the one day we set aside yearly to show our support of small businesses.
Saturday, Nov. 25 marks Small Business Saturday and Manayunk is on board with the shop-local initiative.
Not only will the day be all about spending money locally, it will host the Manayunk Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as part of the Philly Holiday Festival.

Shops along the Main Street corridor will open as early as 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25. Various Manayunk businesses will be offering deals and discounts for the special day of shopping in the neighborhood.
Then at 5:30 p.m. the tree lighting ceremony will take place. The ceremony is being held at Canal View Park, 4420 Main Street.

Attendees will be able to enjoy hot chocolate, a sing-a-long with Santa Claus, and performances by Merge Dance Studio, 54th and City A Cappella, and the Delaware Valley Opera Company.
The ceremony will feature special guests Councilman Curtis Jones and Representative Pam Delissio.
