STARR Restaurants Offering Free Meals To Furloughed Gov't Workers
Federal government employees impacted by the shutdown can get free meals at James Beard Award winner Stephen Starr's Philly restaurants.

PHILADELPHIA — Stephen Starr is one of — if not the — most successful restaurateur in Philadelphia with multiple James Beard Awards on his mantle. And now he's offering help to federal government employees impacted by the partial shutdown.
Starr's restaurant group —STARR Restaurants — has joined the #ChefsForFeds initiative to support federal workers and their families amid the government shutdown.
On Friday afternoon, President Donald Trump said he would sign a bill opening closed federal agencies for three weeks, until Feb. 15.

Even with the limited reopening, STARR restaurants will honor the deal through Feb. 1.
All impacted federal workers need to do to get free meals at Starr's eateries is show up with a federal ID at the times listed for each restaurant, which are featured below.

The #ChefsForFeds initiative was launched by World Central Kitchen and is supported by man partner chefs, restaurants and food trucks around the country.
