Taney Dragons 2-0 in Little League World Series

Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons on Sunday won their second game in the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

The team made a comeback in the sixth inning to win 7-6 against Pearland East, the Southwest champion.

Taney’s next game is Wednesday, when they play a team from Las Vegas.

On Friday, pitcher Mo’Ne Davis led the Taney Youth Baseball Association to a 4-0 win against South Nashville in the team’s opening game of the Little League World Series. It was the first time a female player threw a shutout in the Little League World Series.

Mo’Ne, who can throw pitches as fast as 70 mph, is the 18th girl to play in the Little League World Series, according to ABC News.
