- Monday morning started off on an odd note, as Philadelphia police descended on a suburban colleague's home in Andorra. Overnight, two burlgars broke into the Warrington officer's home. The officer shot and killed one, while the other stole his vehicle.

- Police also reported the incident where a Toni Roni's pizza delivery driver was robbed by three men on Salaignac street of money and his shoes.

- In more positive news, city planning students from the University of Pennsylvania shared their workshop project on Roxborough. Three students detailed plans for the future of Ridge Avenue, Lyceum Avenue, Wissahickon Valley Park and the steps between Roxborough and Manayunk.

- Bucks County winery Crossing Vineyards recently debuted a new Manayunk shop, Main Street Wine Cellar. Patch caught up with its co-founder and Manayunk proprietors.

- Police also reported an incident of theft from a resident's car. Later, police were able to recover the money and arrest the alleged thief.
