Union Taco Reopens In New Manayunk Location
Napoleon Burger, which will replace Union Taco at 4229 Main St., is planned to open in early April.

The new location for Union Taco in Manayunk is reopening Friday, March 17 after a few delays, so get ready for sit-down service and alcoholic beverages.
To celebrate the reopening at 4161 Main St., Union Taco will give away a free traditional beef taco with each purchase at the new location and the Flourtown location.
Union Taco space is more than twice the size as the current location, going from 1,100 square feet to 2,700 square feet, and that massive number doesn't include alfresco seating out front and on a breezeway deck a story above the street.

The move will see Union Taco expand from 28 seats inside and eight outside to 100 seats total, including 10 out front and 40 on the deck.
Now with a liquor license, Union Taco will be offering lots of drink specials, including $3 Mexican beers and margaritas and a Mexican Citywide Special, which will feature a can of Tecate and a shot of tequila for only $5.

The former Union Taco location at 4229 Main St. will be home to Napoleon Burger, which is set to open in early April.
Napoleon Burger will feature a handful of burgers along with French fries, a variety of soft drinks, and lots of customization options for burgers.
But Napoleon Burger isn't just going to be serving customers, as Union Taco and Napoleon Burger owner Nick Farina said his son Alex wants to infuse altruism in the business.
"Alex said he would be donating his salary to the Anti Bully Squad — a foundation run by NFL kicker Brandon McManus of the Denver Broncos," Farina said. "Alex is a sensitive kid with a soft spot in his heart for kids that endure bullying. He knows that bullying is bad, and he wants to help all kids who have been bullied."
Farina said that there will be a donation box at the new burger joint, with all donations going to McManus's charity, which aims to create a permanent solution to bullying through education, awareness and prevention.
The Anti Bully Squad is a non-profit foundation which also runs an annual football camp. McManus grew up in the Philadelphia area, attended North Penn High School and graduated from Temple University.
Napoleon Burger will be open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m., and will feature dine-in seating and pickup, as well as delivery through Grubhub and UberEats. A new website will be launched soon.
