West Mt. Airy Shop To Host Neuroscientist's Easter Book Launch

WEST MOUNT AIRY -- A West Mount Airy business will help a children's author publicize her new book as Easter approaches.

The local bookstore with help launch "PEEP and EGG: I'm not Hatching!", written by Laura Gehl during an event Sunday, March 20 at 11 a.m.

Reading, games, and crafts related to the book will be led by Gehl.

Copies of "PEEP and EGG" will be available for purchase and signing. Visitors can also check out the entries for the 3rd annual Peeps Diorama Contest.

The event is perfect for toddlers and preschool aged children and their parents, organizers say. Click here for more information.

Gehl is a neuroscientist from Maryland who says she is determined to help children overcome the "fears" at the root of stubborn behavior.
