Video footage shows Royer stopped at a Sunoco station on Route 100 in Lehigh County early Friday. His route probably would have taken him south past Macungie park and the Upper Milford fire company.
Other video surveillance later showed his vehicle in Lebanon County—about a half hour from his home, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer report.
Royer's parents are pleading for his safe return, NBC 10 reports.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Skippack Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police at 610-584-1250.
