The JMQ Pictures Showcase will take place at The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 7:30 p.m. The Lindsay’s latest Emerging Filmmakers Showcase will feature three locally made projects created by Brookline native Jameson Quinn’s production company, JMQ Pictures. We will screen Sandman (14 minutes), about a boxer making a comeback; Empty (15 minutes), a detective noir; and Cornered (18 minutes), a TV pilot following one DEA agent’s efforts to capture a drug ring and avenge his friend’s death. Quinn will lead an in-person Q&A immediately following the screening. Tickets are free, and we recommend RSVPing in advance via our website due to space limitations.
