The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center in Sewickley is showing the Oscar-winning Italian drama <a href="https://thelindsaytheater.org/event/cinema-paradiso-at-the-lindsay/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Cinema Paradiso</a> on Thursday, July 2, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 12, at 1 p.m. Cinema Paradiso is writer-director Giuseppe Tornatore’s semi-autobiographical tale about growing up and developing a passion for film in a small Sicilian town. Shady Ave Magazine recently declared that “Cinema Paradiso has become something of a signature film for The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center.” <a href="https://thelindsaytheater.org/films/cinema-paradiso/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Tickets</a> are on sale for $11 and can purchased at The Lindsay or online via the Theater's website.

The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center in Sewickley is continuing their <a href="https://thelindsaytheater.org/event/summer-series-nine-on-90s/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Summer Series: Nine on '90s</a> with two showings of <a href="https://thelindsaytheater.org/films/the-pelican-brief/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Pelican Brief</a> on Thursday, July 9, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 19, at 1 p.m. The Pelican Brief is a John Grisham adaptation starring Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts. This political thriller follows a law student and reporter who find themselves in peril after discovering a dangerous conspiracy. The Lindsay's Summer Series: Nine on '90s kicked off on June 4 and runs through Aug. 27. Each film in this series will play twice throughout June, July and August.
