The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center is hosting the world premiere of the Pittsburgh-filmed crime drama Dark Noon on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. Dark Noon was directed, written and produced by Sewickley-based filmmaker John “J.R.” Jaquish. It follows a man who was recently released from prison and sees an impending solar eclipse as a way to break his cycle of crime and incarceration. It has the distinction of being one of only a few feature films ever to include scenes shot during a total solar eclipse. Jaquish will be at The Lindsay for a Q&A following the screening. Tickets are free, and RSVPs are recommended in advance via The Lindsay's website.
