Inviting all creature creators! This unique sculpture workshop uses techniques of paper and cloth mache to create a unique creature sculpture that is half Muppet-like, half gargoyle and entirely creative. The instructor will guide you through the steps of building a paper mache and wire armature, applying cloth mache, and painting the final sculpture over the course of three classes. Think Jim Henson, the gargoyles of Notre Dame and Chinese Dragons for inspiration! Tuition includes one individual only. A materials list will be sent at the time of registration. This class is designed for ages 16 and older or children 6-15 with an adult. Registration is required. Members tuition is $65 and non-members tuition is $90. This class meets for 3 Saturdays from February 18 through March 3, 2012 from 9:30 AM till 12:30 PM.
