FULL DAY CAMP!
Visit Fern Hollow for an exciting week of adventure as campers hike trails, view insects and study nature. Campers will spend the mornings creating various art projects utilizing materials found in nature and will be taught by veteran Sweetwater instructor Sally Oberdick. Children will make a birdbath, a nature collage and will participate in a scavenger hunt.
In the afternoon, campers will get to experience the wonders of nature from a scientific point of view. Learn how a bird flies while building an air rocket! Make your own "Tall as a Tree Tower". Campers will learn about different areas of science each day including physics, chemistry and physiology. We will look for examples of scientific principles out in nature and then spend time on lots of hands-on experimentation.
