The public is invited to attend a free screening of “The Kite
Runner” in the auditorium of the Penn State Beaver Student Union Building. An open discussion with the audience will follow the film. The award-winning film from 2007 is based on author Khaled Hosseini’s debut
novel of the same name. This free screening and discussion are part of the Penn State Beaver Diversity Committee’s 2011-2012 Global Film Series which is designed to expand participants’ world view as well as initiate discussion about global themes – politics, religion, morality, culture, racism - to aid in deepening understanding of other cultures.
