Quaker Valley High School Seniors Graduate in Annual Rite

Quaker Valley's class of 2011 seniors Cara Kohler, Jacob McCarty, Ashby McGarry and Mica Rollock were the honored student speakers Wednesday evening at the 55th annual commencement exercises at Robert Morris University.

The speakers reflected on the significance of graduation, their high school years, and their hopes for their classmates, according to school officials.

Student speakers are selected by teachers and administrators from seniors who auditioned and met the qualifications for honored speakers with a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
