Quaker Valley Receives National Awards for School Publications
Quaker Valley School District received two Awards of Merit and an Award of Honorable Mention in the National School Public Relations Association's 2012 Publications and Electronic Media Awards contest.

recently received two Awards of Merit and an Award of Honorable Mention in the National School Public Relations Association’s 2012 Publications and Electronic Media Awards contest.
The 2011-12 district calendar and the Quaker Valley Better Together video each earned Awards of Merit while the earned Honorable Mention from among the 701 entries.
winning publications were coordinated by Martha Smith, the district’s former communications manager who retired in June.

The NSPRA Publications and Electronic Media Awards contest is open to all public or private schools or districts. Entries are judged according to the publication category and type and size of district.
NSPRA's mission is to advance education through responsible public relations and communication that leads to success for all students. Since 1935, the organization has been providing school communication training, products and services to school leaders throughout the United States and Canada.
