The film premiered at the 2012 Antelope Film Festival held at the Pittsburgh Filmmakers in Oakland. Maroon's film took Second Place in Animation.
Students from schools across Allegheny County submitted videos in three categories—narrative, animation and documentary. The videos were judged by a professional filmmaker, a professor from Pittsburgh Filmmakers and a producer from the Fred Rogers' Company.
In addition to Isabella’s work, the film also features an original score by alumnus Calder Pegden, who graduated in 2010.
The short film was viewed by Sewickley Academy's entire Senior School last week during morning announcements. Click here to watch "Shapeable."
The Antelope awards are presented by Avonworth High School and Pittsburgh Filmmakers.
