1 Dead Following Delco House Fire Wednesday

A 65-year-old reitred postal worker and grandfather sadly died in the house fire that broke out at a Collingdale home Wednesday morning.

COLLINGDALE, PA – The fire that destroyed a home in Delaware County left one person dead, according to a media report.

NBC10 reports Michael Olcese, 65, died in the fire that broke out at a home on the 900 block of Pittman Avenue in Collingdale mid morning on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Part of the home reportedly collapsed during the fire.

According to the outlet, Olcese was found after firefighters searched the rubble for hours.

He was a retired postal worker and grandfather.
