Witnesses in the store called 911 and officers arrived at the store while the four were still inside, according to the DA's office.

Jones grabbed a male employee and used him as a shield, but a responding officer was able to fire a round and hit the alleged robber in the arm, the DA's office said. Jones is in stable condition at the hospital, according to the DA's office.

The four continued to run, but were taken into custody by other officers on scene, according to the DA's office.
