“Adam is a student who has shown tremendous progress over the past few years," Lynn Beaumont from the special education department said. "He not only works hard on his academics, but he is always the first to help his classmates and his teachers. His friendly smile has a contagious effect on those around him.”
“Adam’s energy is contagious!" Susan Forde, Adam’s homeroom teacher added.
"He is a wonderful friend and enthusiastic student. His inquisitive nature and eagerness for learning, especially in science, is extraordinary – I think we have a future scientist in our midst.”
“One of the things that makes Adam such a great kid is his compassion for others," Principal Dave Soslau said. "In addition to being a hard-working, honest and funny young man, he demonstrates the kind of care for others that helps to make Scenic Hills a safe and special place. If someone needs help and Adam is nearby, he can always be counted on to step up without even being asked. I’m very proud to have Adam at Scenic Hills and look forward to his bright future.”
For these reasons and many more, Adam McBride is the Springfield School District November Student of the Month.
