Babysitter Sexually Assaulted 5-Year-Old Delco Boy: Cops
A N.J. man who babysat the boy has been charged with sexual assault of a 5-year-old, police said.

A New Jersey man who served as a babysitter has been charged with sexual assault of a 5-year-old Delaware County boy, police said Tuesday.
Michael S. Goodwin, 40, was the boyfriend of the victim’s mother and also served as a caregiver of the Haverford child, police said.
The Swedesboro man was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault of a child, endangering the welfare of a child, and other crimes.

The Dec. 9 incident allegedly happened in the boy’s home in Haverford home, according to a township police press release.
Goodwin was arraigned Tuesday and lodged in the Delaware County jail after failing to post $75,000 cash bail, police said.

The arrest was made after an investigation that began last week.
