Kick off Child Abuse Awareness Month!
With only three days left of our IndieGoGo campaign, the DelCo-based documentary kicks it into gear as Child Abuse Awareness Month begins.
We are only three days away from ending out IndieGoGo fundraising campaign for A Bird Without Wings, a documentary centered on a child abuse case based in Delaware County. Although our exclusive IndieGoGo perks for donating will be closed on April 5, we have reached out to the community to help us spread awareness! We are excited to announce that we have scheduled an Ice Cream fundraiser with Cold Stone Creamery in Springfield. On May 7th 10% of all sales between 6pm and 10pm that present our poster will be donated to the film. We are also considering doing a Bingo night to help raise the remaining funds.
Also we would like to remind everyone that April is not only Autism Awareness Month, but also National Child Abuse Prevention Month! One of our perks for donating is a Blue Child Abuse Awareness wristband! Whether advocates for autism or abuse prevention, April seems to be the month to show your support for children!
