SYC Cheerleading Competition Tryouts

Springfield Youth Club (SYC) will hold evaluations for anyone wishing to cheer on a competition team in 2013-14 on May 15, 16 and 17 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Tri-State Cheer in Havertown. Cheerleaders between the ages of 7-8 as of July 1 will attend evaluations on May 15 and 17; cheerleaders between the ages of 9-10 as of July 1 will attend evaluations on May 15, 16 and 17; and cheerleaders who turn 11 as of July 1, but are not older than 15 as of November 30, will attend evaluations on May 16 and 17. All cheerleaders wishing to be placed on a competition squad must attend evaluations; if you cannot make the evaluation dates for your age group, contact Danielle Hannigan at dmhannigan@gmail.com to schedule a private evaluation. Cheerleaders between the ages of 5 and 6 as of July 1 will be evaluated in August when regular practices begin. Cheerleaders must be residents of Springfield or Morton and MUST cheer at football games to be eligible to cheer on a competition squad.
