Card Skimmer Suspected At Springfield ATM After Fraud Reports
Police said residents reported fraudulent activity on their bank accounts. Police think a card skimmer was used at an ATM on Baltimore Pike.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – If you or someone you know has used the ATM at the Franklin Mint Credit Union branch on the 300 block of Baltimore Pike in Springfield recently, you may want to check your bank statements.
Springfield Township Police said there is reason to believe a card skimmer was used at that branch after getting reports of fraudulent bank activity from residents.
Police said numerous people reported to them that their Franklin Mint Credit Union debit cards had been used without authorization and money was missing from their bank accounts.

At this point police suspect a card skimmer was placed on the ATM and subsequently led the criminals to access the bank accounts.
