Cops: Delco Man Killed Wife, Fled With Kids

An Amber Alert issued for two Delaware County children early Thursday morning has been cancelled after the two children were found safe.

The Amber Alert was issued around 3 a.m. by Pennsylvania State Police after two small children were taken from their Drexel Hill home, WTAJ says.

Keith Belajonas, 32, fatally shot and stabbed the children’s mother, Christina Belajonas, 28, The Philadelphia Inquirer said. Belajonas then fled with the children, ages 4 and 5, setting off a multi-state manhunt.

Belajonas drove to a Staten Island CVS, where he stole beer, cash and cigarettes before leaving his sons there, the Inquirer said.

Belajonas then committed suicide, WTAJ and the Inquirer said.

Belajonas allegedly fought with his wife because he believed she had been unfaithful, the Inquirer said.
