Delaware County Man Found Guilty Of Molesting Children: DA's Office

79-year-old man found guilty on all charges, including indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old.

A Clifton Heights man charged with molesting children has been found guilty on all charges and counts, according to the Delaware County District Attorney's Office.

Martin Finsterbush, 79, of Clifton Heights, was found guilty on all charges including two counts each of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old, indecent assault without consent and corruption of minors, according to the DA's Office. Finsterbush was accused of molesting two victims by inappropriately kissing and touching them on multiple occasions when the victims were 8-years old, the DA's Office said.

Delaware County Judge John Capuzzi reached the guilty verdict following a bench trial that began in August, according to the DA's Office. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Alan Borowsky of the District Attorney's Special Victims Unit, the DA's Office said.

Finsterbush's sentencing hearing is slated for Jan. 12, 2017. He is facing time behind bars and a lifetime sex offender registration under Megan's Law, the DA's Office said.
