Man Tried To Lure Girl At Ice Cream Truck In Delco: Police

Police said David Fetter allegedly tried to lure a young girl into his vehicle as she waited for an ice cream truck outside her Delco home.

RIDLEY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Delaware County many is behind bars after allegedly truing to lure a young girl to his vehicle, police said.

Ridley Township police said 64-year-old David Fetter, of Prospect Park, has been charged with luring a child into a motor vehicle, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

Fetter was remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility after failing to post 10 percent of $50,000 bail at his March 3 arraignment, court records show.

Fetter allegedly attempted to lure a young girl who was waiting outside her home for an ice cream truck in Ridley, police said.

The incident occurred on Saturday, March 30 at Dale and Secane roads, police said.

A vehicle approached her and the victim recognized the vehicle from a previous incident involving another juvenile family member, police said.

The man in the vehicle, allegedly Fetter, said to her "hey you, come here” while motioning with his finger, police said.

Police said the girl made into her home safely and told her parents.

Fetter is slated for a preliminary hearing on April 18, court records show.
