Thieves fleeing from police wound up crashing their stolen car and flipping it over in a local driveway early Tuesday, sources state.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A thief fleeing from police wound up crashing her car and flipping it over in a local driveway early Tuesday morning, sources state.

The incident began at around 1 a.m. on Pancoast Avenue, where the suspect was stealing items out of cars in the area, according to 6ABC.

The woman, along with one other suspect, fled the area in a stolen car, launching the chase, reports state.

The suspect eventually struck a pole and then a pickup truck that was parked in a nearby home's driveway, the Associated Press reports.

The vehicle then flipped over on its side, and both suspects were arrested.

The suspects have not yet been identified. A stolen gun was found in the stolen car, per reports.
