Ghaderi, who also has an office in Darby, allegedly assaulted the patient in April last year in his Springfield office.
A police affidavit claimed Ghaderi, despite not being an obstetrician-gynecologist, performed breast exams on a patient seeking help with ear pain. He then allegedly put his hand down her pants and felt around her thighs and vagina.
Investigators sent an undercover detective to Ghaderi's office to glean more information about the visit in question, and sent a detective not undercover to question Ghaderi more about the visit. Experts later said Ghaderi's actions were not medically necessary.
"There are no criminal allegations in his past," Delaware County Deputy District Attorney Michael Galantino said. "But we have reason to believe there may be other victims out there and we are asking anyone who has any information to contact us."
Anyone who may have been assaulted in this manner is urged to call the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division at (610) 891-4700.
