DUI Crash, Thefts, Stolen Cars, More: Springfield Crime Blotter
A 29-year-old Clifton Heights man was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody after crashing into a parked car Sunday.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued the weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between June 6 and June 11.

June 6, 6:37 p.m.
Two subjects, Srileaksmi Movva 25, of New Haven, Connecticut, and Veer Muvva 24, of Claymont, Delaware, were arrested after Macy’s security at the mall reported they stole close to $400 worth of merchandise. They were charged with Retail Theft and held for arraignment.
June 7, 8:59 p.m.
There were three reports of items stolen from lockers at the LAFitness, 800 block of Baltimore Pike. Car keys and wallets were stolen.

June 8, 3:02 p.m.
Two Hyundai Sonatas were stolen from the Springfield Hyundai lot sometime overnight. Both were located later in Clifton Heights Borough, unoccupied one June 9 and June 10.
June 9, 9:30 p.m.
A lightbulb was found broken out of the lamp and smashed on the porch of the Old Central School, 100 block of Saxer Avenue.
June 11, 1:21 a.m.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Hawarden Road for a hit-and-run crash in which a vehicle struck a parked car. Sgt. McKenna located the striking vehicle in the area of Norwinden Drive and Springfield Road and stopped the vehicle. The driver, a 29-year-old male from Clifton Heights, was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. He refused a blood test. Charges for DUI and traffic offenses will be filed.
June 11, 3:38 p.m.
A purse was stolen from the waiting area of Longhorn Steakhouse, 1000 block of Baltimore Pike. The victim tracked and found her cell phone on Baltimore Pike, and several credit cards were used at a location on the 600 block of Baltimore Pike.
