Friends of Marple Library Announces November DVD and Book Sale. Accepting donations now.

The Friends of the Marple Public Library in Broomall are now asking for your donations of gently used audio and visual items such as DVDs, VHS tapes, Books On Tape and Audio CDs and books for our November sale. All donations may now be placed in the blue collection receptacle in the lobby of the library. For your convenience we have also added two new collection points inside the entrance of the Acme in Lawrence Park and one inside the Broomall Giant. Included in this sale will be gently used pocketbooks, scarves, wallets, and small leather goods. Please donate your unwanted items to the Friends so that we can have a successful sale. Not only are we collecting audio/visual items, for the first time, we are also asking for book donations.

The special preview sale for Member of the Friends is on Thursday November 20 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The regular sale opens to the public on Friday November 21 from 10 am to 5 pm. The sale will end on Saturday November 22 from 10 am to 3 pm . Our half price sale begins at noon on Saturday. We will offer a large inventory of DVDs, CDs, Audio CDs, Books on Tape and VHS tapes. Our donated inventory includes children’s, travel, drama, family, action, comedy, horror, science fiction, foreign films and special collections of TV shows, poets, history and the classics.
