How To Get A Dog License
Getting a tag for your dog is quick and easy. Pennsylvania law requires that all dogs be licensed.
Chapter 36 of the code requires all dogs to be inoculated against rabies and to wear a current tag.
Under Pennsylvania law, all dogs three months and older must be licensed.

Four Ways to Get a Dog License
- In person at the Delaware County Treasurer's Office
- Fill out an online application and mail a check or money order
- Print the online application and mail it in with a check or money order
- Apply and pay online by credit card or PayPal
Applicants who complete the online process can print their license information instantly, but the official license will be mailed within seven business days.
