A SEPTA bus passenger was stabbed in a "totally unprovoked" attack on a SEPTA bus Wednesday in Springfield, 6ABC reported.

A SEPTA bus passenger was stabbed in a "totally unprovoked" attack Wednesday in Springfield, 6ABC is reporting.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. on Baltimore Pike at Church Road in Springfield as the bus was making a stop, the report said. The suspect, who 6ABC reports is 67, stabbed the teen in the neck as he was getting off the bus.
The suspect is in custody at the Springfield Police station and the victim was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, 6ABC reported.

Springfield Police Chief Joe Daly told the network the attack was "Totally unprovoked, they weren't even sitting in the same section of the bus" and that witnesses were "shocked."
The suspect and the victim have not been identified.
