Two residents from the 1200 block of Providence Road reported June 25 at 12:22 a.m. that sometime overnight someone damaged their curbside mailboxes in the front of their homes.

Man Charged with Retail Theft
in the reported that a man had fled the store after attempting to steal a pair of shoes on June 25 at 5:19 p.m. The man dropped the shoes while fleeing. A short time later, Patrolman Jacob Bierling saw someone fitting the description walking on Baltimore Pike. When the officer returned to the area, he observed the man in the rear seat of a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and the man was identified and taken into custody. He was issued a citation for retail theft for allegedly taking $40 worth of merchandise from the store and was later released. Detective Daniel McNeely is handling the investigation.
Obscenity Carved onto Car
A Lansdowne resident reported June 25 at 8:10 p.m. that someone keyed an obscene word on the front passenger’s door of her vehicle while it was parked in the lot of the .
Credit Cards Stolen, Charged
A Morton resident reported that sometime around 11 a.m. on June 27 someone stole three credit cards from her purse while she was at in the 1000 block of Baltimore Pike. She did not realize that the cards were missing until she went to use them later in the day. The cards were used for several large purchases at local stores before the victim could cancel them. Detective James Devaney is handling the investigation.
GPS Stolen from Unlocked Vehicle
A resident from the 100 block of Bellvue Avenue reported that sometime overnight on June 28 someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a black leather case and a Garmin GPS Unit while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home.
