Power Lines Fall On Car, Spark Fire In Delaware County

FOLCROFT, PA — Downed wires sparked a car fire near an elementary school in Delaware County on Friday.

The incident occurred at about 12:04 p.m. on the 700 block of School Lane in Folcroft, according to Delaware County Active Incidents.

The Norwood Fire Company was among the crews to respond to the scene.

CBS3 reports that PECO has de-energized the wires in the area, and that power has been shut down at the nearby Delcroft Elementary School.

No injuries have been reported.
