Springfield Man Who Threatened Cop Sentenced
Daniel Folkomer allegedly told an off-duty officer that he would kill him back in May.
SPRINGFIELD, PA – A Springfield man accused of threatening to kill an Upper Darby Police officer was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to two charges in a Delaware County court, records show.
Daniel K. Folkomer, 31, of Springfield, was sentenced to time served to 23 months prison, as well as 5 years probation and perform 96 hours of community service, according to court records.
Folkomer was charged with four different harassment charges, two different stalking charges, making terroristic threats, careless driving, reckless driving, and fleeing or attempting to elude police, court records show. However, he pleaded guilty to only the terroristic threats and fleeing or attempting to elude police, court documents show.

Upper Darby Police said Folkomer verbally accosted an off duty officer on the morning of Wednesday, May 3 in the Drexeline Shopping Center in Drexel Hill.
Folkomer allegedly told the officer he would kill him, called him vulgar names, and spit at him.

Folkomer then allegedly took off when he saw uniformed officers in the area and was later arrested.
