Springfield Police Blotter: Drunk Juveniles, Stolen Truck, More
Police said a work truck was stolen from a business on Eagle Road on July 18. See here for more details and the full police blotter.

SPRINGFIELD, PA – Springfield Police issued their weekly blotter on Monday, highlighting activity in the township between July 18 and July 21.
Police reported a stolen work truck, juveniles drinking, a phone theft, and more.

July 18 at 6:56 p.m.
A business on the 500 block Eagle Road reported one of their work trucks had been stolen sometime overnight. It was found that a second truck on the lot had tools stolen. The trucks were inside a gated fence area of the property. Investigation led officers to locating the vehicle in Upper Darby Township at about 3 p.m. the same day.
July 19 at 12:40 a.m.
One of the players at the Hockey Dek, 1400 block Wallingford Road, reported that he placed his phone in the bathroom and left the room for a brief time only to return and find the phone stolen.

July 20 at 4:05 a.m.
Officers responded to the 300 block Collins Drive for a disturbance outside a residence. When they arrived, two subjects ran from the area. The two juveniles were located and stopped a short time later still in the area. One from Wynnewood and one from Ardmore were turned over to family and charges for curfew and public drunkenness will be filed. They had been loitering at a friend’s house in the neighborhood.
July 20 at 11:43 a.m.
A resident of the 200 block Lynbrooke Road reported a Kent girls’ 20-inch bicycle was stolen from the front yard of the property sometime between July 17 and July 19.
July 20 at 9:07 p.m.
While conducting a traffic detail, Ofc. Christy stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on the 200 block North State Road. The driver was found to have a quantity of marijuana inside the vehicle along with packaging material consistent with a drug sales operation. The male, an adult from Lafayette Hill, was taken into custody and processed at Marple Police Department which was part of the traffic detail operation. Drug charges will be filed against the male.
July 21 at 9:53 p.m.
Ridley Park Police Department asked to be on the lookout for a resident of the 100 block Rose Lane who was suspected of operating a black Nissan Murano. The male had been arrested in Ridley Park earlier in the evening and his vehicle impounded. It was later learned that the male broke into the impound lot and took his vehicle. Sgt. Shull located the subject and the vehicle on Rose Lane, took the male into custody and turned him over to Ridley Park Police Department.
