Springfield Police Blotter: Stolen Wallet, Thefts From Vehicles
Two vehicles School Lane and East Scenic Road, both unlocked, were entered and had items stolen from them, police said. See more here.

April 1, 9:29 p.m.
Reedman Toll Chrysler Dodge Ram Dealership reported they had vehicles for sale parked in the lot of the old Babies R Us 700 block Baltimore Pike. Sometime recently someone removed a fender and both front doors from a 2019 Jeep Compass. Det. McNeely is following the direction of the investigation.
April 3, 10 a.m.
A woman reported that while eating lunch at Panera Bread 1000 block Baltimore Pike someone removed two credit cards from her wallet. She said her wallet was inside a coat pocket that was hanging from the chair. She left her table for a brief time and then left the restaurant. She was later contacted by two credit card companies asking about suspicious transaction being attempted, and then realized her credit cards were missing from her wallet. Sgt. J. DiTrolio is investigating.

April 4, 10:45 a.m.
Two unlocked vehicles were entered and loose change/cash taken from inside sometime overnight; one on the 100 block School Lane and the other 500 block East Scenic Road.
April 7, 8:46 a.m.
Officers were called to the LA Fitness 800 block Baltimore Pike to investigate a disorderly member. The member attempted to have his young son use the basketball court and was denied. The member then threatened and ridiculed an employee that he would be back with a group. Charges against the member are pending.
