The blotter covers incidents that occurred in the township between Nov. 19 and Nov. 25.
Police handled thefts, an assault, vehicle break-ins, and more.

Nov. 19 at 1:28 p.m.
Brett Schwalm, 37, from Dauphin, Pennsylvania, was arrested and charged with retail theft after Target at the mall security observed him select and conceal $110 worth of store merchandise.

Nov. 19 at 3:22 p.m.
Two females from Delaware came to the Target at the mall and began loading shopping carts with merchandise. As they pushed the carts outside without paying for what was inside they were stopped by security. Shanitta Ellis, 31, from Wilmington and Monet McCurdy, 25, from Newark were arrested and charged with retail theft.
Nov. 19 at 7:25 p.m.
A resident of the 100 block West Avenue reported his unlocked vehicle had been entered overnight and a quantity of coins were taken.
Nov. 20 at 7:49 p.m.
Two females entered the Target store at the mall and quickly selected numerous items from the women’s department and placed the items in shopping carts. They went to another department and concealed the items inside purses they were carrying. They attempted to leave the store with the shopping cart and concealed merchandise. Target security was able to recover the shopping cart but the females got away with the purses and fled in a vehicle. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
Nov. 21 at 8 p.m.
Officers from the Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce conducted a sobriety checkpoint on the 400 block Baltimore Pike. Two arrests and six citations were issued.
Nov. 23 at 8:17 a.m.
Two unlocked vehicles were entered overnight one on Hawarden Road and one on Indian Rock Drive. A small amount of change was taken.
Nov. 23 at 7:13 p.m.
Two male subjects cut the security cables to several cell phones on display at the T Mobile in the mall and fled the store with four Apple iPhones.
Nov. 24 at 7:10 p.m.
Several members of a family celebrating a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese on the 300 block Baltimore Pike struck another member causing injury to her face and shoulder. Det. McCarthy is investigating.
Nov. 25 at 11:04 a.m.
Target at the mall security reported they observed a male subject steal a Fitbit watch valued at $190. They took him into custody, and police transported the subject to headquarters where he was identified as Julio Marrero, 30, from Chester. While at headquarters Target called again to report that video surveillance showed the same male had stolen a Fitbit watch earlier in the day as well. Police responded to the mall parking lot and found the stolen Fitbit watch inside Marrero’s vehicle. He was charged with retail theft and taken to court for arraignment.
